Atlanta Clarion User's Group/Atlanta Drupal Developer's Group
The Atlanta Clarion User's Group/Atlanta Drupal Developer's Group meets monthly to discuss Clarion and Drupal and to facilitate technical help among members.

We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month, at 6:00PM. See the "Meeting Dates this year" sidebar for specific dates.
Late arrivals are not a problem. The meetings may last up to and beyond the 8:00 pm hour.
July ACUG/ADDG meeting

As usual, we will provide a dinner for those in attendance, starting at 5:00, with the meeting starting at 6:00. May meeting 2010

We had a great meeting. Short of a few first time techno issues the meeting was successful, in that, everyone in attendance now has some experience installing the basic Drupal Web CMS package.
Each person in attendance had their own site locally here at Accelerated's home office. The small glitches have been fixed so that at the next meeting we will be able to individually complete the task of installing this popular open source CMS product.

over the next few months on the subject of "mashing" Clarion development
with the open source GPL licensed Content Management System called
Drupal. ( http://drupal.org )
We believe this to be an excellent opportunity to web enable data from
Clarion applications into a secure web site system. Order systems,
customer inquiries, and outside sales support are a few of the
applications that could be the result of this workshop effort.
The meetings will be to familiarize Clarion Developers with the workings
April ACUG Meeting Summary
Submitted by bcoleman on Tue, 04/27/2010 - 22:21We worked on a problem Bob Barnwell had with a copied listbox in Clarion 7. The solution was to rebuild list box using the template control instead of copying the listbox.
We reviewed the Webinar on Dr Explain.
We reviewed the use of Drupal for a web site.

March ACUG Meeting

As usual, dinner will be available at 5:00PM. If you plan to come for the dinner, RSVP so we'll know how many to cook for.
Current plans for meeting topics are a final decision on moving the meeting night to the 4th Tuesday, and another stab at a revised version of Chris's 'Building a basic application from the ground up' for 7.1.

February ACUG Meeting

Summary, ACUG meeting 1/19/2010

3 APC UPS's were donated and awarded to 3 people as door prizes.
We reviewed the content currently on the ACUG website. Any suggestions for additions to the website will always be welcome.
We did the typical generation of a wizarded application from the dictionary, to see if C7.1 seems much different.
